The full spread of answers, not just right and wrong. 36% chose "I do it only on my “important” accounts, such as Facebook or Peppol", 1% chose "I don't know what multi-factor authentication is or how to enable it". That is a group who would do this if they were shown how, which is a different problem from people who know how and skip it. Everyone answered in their own language; the English wording is shown here.

What a participant was told

The feedback shown after answering, verbatim:
Multi-factor authentication is one of the most effective protections against account theft: Microsoft reports that turning it on makes an account more than 99.9% less likely to be compromised. It is easy to switch on and hard to break. An authenticator app or a trusted tool such as itsme gives stronger protection than codes by SMS or email.
The workgroup wrote these. Showing them beside the national result is how the questionnaire stays theirs.
